Craftuary Studio · guide
Every Studio pattern is written through our own amigurumi pattern engine, re-counted round by round by a stitch-count check before you see it, and every problem a maker reports is read by a person and used to improve the Designer in a measured daily run.
The Designer follows a rule book of amigurumi shaping (how fast a sphere grows, how wide a neck can be, how parts join), first written from published amigurumi practice. It only grows: rules are added or tuned with the reason and evidence written down, never deleted.
Before you see a design, our check works through every round: what each line makes and whether it matches the number in brackets. A round that doesn't add up is fixed before the pattern reaches you. The same checker is free for any pattern at craftuary.com/check.
Every morning an improvement run takes the top open problem from one queue: reports from makers, rounds the check refused, repairs the Designer needed and 3D builds that didn't match their photo. Each change is measured on a fixed scoreboard and kept only if the number improves. Nothing goes live until it has been reviewed.
Every day an improvement run works through one queue: problems makers report, rounds the check refused, and repairs the Designer needed. Each change is measured on a fixed scoreboard and only kept if it helps. The rule book it follows only grows: rules are added or tuned, never quietly dropped.
A person. Every design has a "report a problem" button, a person reads every report and replies by email, and Studio members get priority support.
No. Every count is checked, and that catches most problems, but a design can still contain mistakes. We'd rather tell you that and fix what you report.
