FREE  Lesson 2 of 5

Knit stitch (k)

Put the right needle into the front of the first stitch, wrap the yarn around its tip, pull the new loop through to the front and slip the old stitch off the left needle. This is a simplified diagram, not real hands: the yarn is a smooth tube and each stitch is a plain loop.
