Crochet a tree full of ornaments with us: one free pattern a day for twelve days, from easy to a little more involved. Each day's ornament unlocks here at 9 AM Eastern and arrives in your inbox at the same moment.

Yes. All twelve written patterns are free; the printable PDFs need a free Craftuary account (one click with Google). Each one also has a free 3D preview. The full round-by-round 3D build of an ornament is optional and costs $4.99.
9:00 AM Eastern Time every day from Day 1 to Day 12 (that's 6 AM Pacific and 2 PM in the UK). The email goes out at the same moment; allow a few minutes for it to arrive.
Beginner friendly. The first days are small and quick (one or two pieces); the later ones add a few more pieces to sew together. Every round lists its stitch count, and our software checks every count before it's published.
Ten of the twelve use worsted weight (CYC 4) with a 3.5-4.0 mm hook; the bauble and the robin use DK (CYC 3) with a 3.0-3.5 mm hook. Small amounts in Christmas colours, plus stuffing, a stitch marker and a yarn needle. Each day's email lists exactly what that ornament needs.
