Assembly

  1. Stuff the Body and the Head firmly before closing them. The Body starts at its narrow top (the point) and ends at its round bottom. Stuff the Tail lightly.
  2. Embroider the two eyes on the head at Rnd 6 with colour B. About 7 stitches apart.
  3. Embroider the small nose on the head at Rnd 7 with colour B. Centred under the eyes.
  4. Sew the head to the body between Rnds 5 and 6. On top of the body, over its narrow point, so the head covers the point.
  5. Scarf: with colour C, ch 45, then sl st in the back bump of each ch along. Fasten off. Wrap it around the neck where the head meets the body and tie it in a knot at one side, leaving short ends hanging.
  6. Sew the ears to the head between Rnds 2 and 4. Pinched flat, one each side of the top, pointing up.
  7. Sew the tail to the body between Rnds 15 and 16. At the back of the bottom, hanging down below the body.
  8. Curl the last third of the Tail (its tip) up into a hook and tack it with a few stitches.
  9. Optional hanging loop: thread a length of colour A through the top of the head between the ears and tie it into a hanging loop.
  10. Weave in all ends.
