Assembly

  1. Stuff the Head firmly before closing it, and leave a long tail of colour A.
  2. Sew the hat to the head at Rnd 4. Pulled down over the top of the head, covering the magic ring, its open edge sewn all the way around at Rnd 4; the two white rounds make a thick cuff.
  3. Bend the top half of the hat over into a hook to one side and tack it down, so the tip hangs down beside the face.
  4. Sew the beard to the head between Rnds 7 and 9. Folded in half into a half-circle, the fold at the top, centred on the lower front of the face under the nose, covering the mouth and chin.
  5. Sew the nose to the head between Rnds 6 and 7. Centred on the front, on the top edge of the beard.
  6. Embroider the two small eyes on the head at Rnd 5 with colour E. About 5 stitches apart, just under the cuff.
  7. Sew the pompom to the hat at Rnd 1. On the tip of the hat.
  8. Thread a length of colour C through the top of the hat and tie into a hanging loop.
  9. Weave in all ends.
