Assembly

  1. Check the safety eyes on the face are locked tight (you put them in between Rnds 2 and 3 while making it). For a toy for a child under 3, embroider the eyes now instead.
  2. Embroider the pink cheeks on the face at Rnd 3 with colour D.
  3. Embroider the small smile on the face around Rnds 3-4 with colour B.
  4. Flatten each Petal (do not stuff) and sew its open end closed.
  5. Sew the petals to the back at Rnd 6. Evenly spaced all the way around the edge, edges touching, pointing outwards like a ring.
  6. Sew the face to the back at Rnd 6. Wrong sides together, all the way round over the petal ends, stuffing lightly before you close it.
  7. Sew the stem to the back at Rnd 6. At the bottom edge, open end up, lightly stuffed.
  8. Sew the leaf to the stem between Rnds 3 and 4. On one side, its tip pointing out and up, lightly stuffed.
  9. Weave in all ends.
