Crochet Skeleton Amigurumi: Free Halloween Pattern

Crochet Skeleton Amigurumi: Free Halloween Pattern

A small, friendly crochet skeleton: a round white skull sewn on top of a black egg-shaped body, two short white arms at the sides, two white feet at the base so it stands, two embroidered black round eye sockets, a small black nose and a stitched grin on the skull, and white embroidered ribs down the front of the body. This is a quick, beginner-friendly Halloween crochet pattern: 4 pieces worked in spiral rounds of single crochet, about 12 cm when it's finished. It's free with a Craftuary account.

  6. Embroider the small triangle nose on the head at Rnd 8 with colour B. Centred under the eye sockets: a solid triangle, point up, 2 stitches wide.
  7. Embroider the stitched grin on the head at Rnd 9 with colour B. A straight line with 5 short stitches across it for teeth, 7 stitches wide.
  8. Embroider the ribs: a line down the middle with three short ribs on each side on the body around Rnds 6-11 with colour A. On the front, between the arms, 6 stitches wide.
  9. Optional, to hang it: thread a length of colour A through the top of the head and tie it into a hanging loop.
