FREE Lesson 4 of 5
A granny square starts in a ring: work three double crochets into it, then chain two for a corner, and repeat that four times in all. The groups of three become the sides and the chain spaces become the corners of the square. A simplified diagram seen from above: every stitch is drawn as a simple V, the ring is the grey circle in the middle, and the corner chains are drawn in a lighter yarn colour so they stand out.
A simplified 3D diagram, not a recording of real hands. Something unclear or wrong? Report a problem.
